How
- Scan or photograph the original and open the file in EasyUpscale AI.
- Auto mode recognizes a damaged or noisy shot and picks a restoration model. In Advanced mode (with a license) you can choose the SwinIR realSR model, made for old, noisy and JPEG-damaged photos.
- A noisy photo is cleaned first and fine grain is put back afterwards, so the result does not look painted.
Honestly
- The result is an improvement, not a faithful reconstruction. AI cannot reliably fill in missing parts of faces and details.
